Question:

Which Is the Hardest of the Two Kinds of Bakelite Tubes?

Answer:

We have the 16mm mould to make your required size and normal length is 1m.

We have two kinds of bakelite tubes:
1. Phenolic paper laminated tube: insulation paper and phenolic resin
2. Phenolic cotton cloth laminated tube: cotton cloth and phenolic resin

Phenolic cotton cloth tube is harder. The vertical bending strength of phenolic cotton tube is 138 MPa, the best of it could get to 150MPa, and the phenolic paper tube is 90MPa.

The temperature resistance is 130/155°C and it has good dielectric properties and mechanical strength.

usually we only produce phenolic laminated tube ID>25mm. Our epoxy laminated tube is also very hard. The OD tolerance is +0.2mm, the ID tolerance is -0.2mm.

Our laminated products are all ISO certified and we have UL certificate. The second one (32 yarn) is harder than the first one. For the tubes, the thicker the harder.
