As per IEC standard, thermal classes of insulation are defined as having maximum permissible
working temperature as under,:

Class A : 105 °C. These are mostly Cloth, silk, paper impregnated / coated with liquid dielectric
Class B: 130 °C.
Class C: >180°C.
Class E : 120 °C.
Class F : 155 °C
Class H : 180 °C
